Flying Bison Brewing Company
Flying Bison Brewing Company is a packaging brewery located in the city of Buffalo, and the first stand alone brewery to operate in the city proper since Iroquois Brewing closed its doors in 1972.
An award-winning brewer with over 20 years experience, owner Tim Herzog made a strong commitment from the inception of this company as merely an idea to establish Flying Bison Brewing Company in the City of Buffalo and foster the return of what was once a flourishing industry. Its this commitment that has carried the way for the brewery to become what it is today.
Tours are available as always, but please call first. Or feel free to stop in and shop at the store and/or fill up a growler of your favorite beer on the way out. If you want to learn what it's like to brew your own beer, be sure to look into the FBBC Flight School.

AVIATOR RED -- 5.25% ABV - Buffalos favorite red ale. Ruby red and malty flavored with a medium body and a spicy hop signature to balance. Available in bottles and on draft.
BARNSTORMER PALE ALE 4.8% ABV - Our American Pale Ale. Made with American pale malt for a brilliant straw gold color, American hops (Cascade) for a refreshing citrusy hop character, and our signature ale yeast for a clean smooth finish. Available on draft, and seasonally in our Mixed BLACKBIRD STOUT -- 5.25%
ABV - Our rich and creamy oatmeal stout. We use a firm flavored British Pale Malt to build the flavors from. The roasted barley lends a coffee-like flavor while the oats give a silky finish. available on draft, and seasonally in our Mixed Squadron 6 pack.Squadron 6 pack.
BUFFALO LAGER 4.8%ABV - Light bodied golden beer, very balanced flavor with soft, clean finish. Available bottles at your favorite store and at an increasing # of bars.

Flying Bison is also the proud brewer of Rusty Chain. This is a beer that FBBC is making in collaboration with Green Options Buffalo, Buffalo Rising, and Buffalo Microparks, based on Tim's Vienna Lager many of you have enjoyed in past years. Partial proceeds go to raise resources for bicycle parking throughout Buffalo. Rusty Chain has become the beer of choice for cyclists and beer aficionados alike, and has been receiving rave reviews.
