Curly Q Bike Bridge
I've always referred to this bridge as the Curly Q Bike Bridge. I can't tell you how many times I've biked up and down this Delaware Park mainstay. It's how you get from one side of the park to the next.
On one side is Hoyt Lake, Marcy Casino, The Albright Knox, the Rose Garden, etc. On the other side you will find the Japanese Gardens, the Historical Society, Ring Road, and the Delaware Tennis Courts. Thankfully, there are bike trails whichever direction you find yourself heading as you exit the bridge.
Olmsted Parks Conservancy now has informational wayfinding signage at the north entrance of the bridge. It is there that you can learn all about the designs and history of the parks and parkways. The vantage point from on high overlooking Hoyt Lake is worth a quick rest at the top.
