We find ourselves eating at Riverview once a week. As far as urban diners go, this is our favorite. There's nothing fancy about it, just great down home cooking. The corned beef hash is the best around hands down, and the homefries are cooked to perfection (with chunks of onion). This is a college join, a family joint, a friends joint and a neighborhood icon.
There is nothing better than getting to Riverview on a rainy day and sitting down with a newspaper and a cup of coffee. As the name eludes to, the diner is family owned and family friendly. It might be a bit off the beaten path, but that makes it all the better in this case.
