Queen City Criterium
If you're into cycling, then this annual race is just about the best thing going. Event coordinators close down the streets surrounding Niagara Square in order to allow racers to lay claim to this judicial district.
Combine this Saturday race with a second that takes place in the Cobblestone District on Sunday (in August), and we have a racer's paradise. It's a smooth course with plenty of twists and turns. The broad streets give the cyclist plenty of room for the peloton and a few straightaways allow for echelons depending on the wind and weather conditions.
