Another mainstay for the West Side; if you've made it to Essex you've arrived as a Buffalonian. Some of the greatest bartenders pour in a relaxed atmosphere with no pretenses. Occasional ringers at the pool table... but more often than not you will run into a friend with a cue in hand.
Essex Corners is a neighborhood on the make. Close to Urban Roots Garden Cooperative, Five Point Bakery, Essex Art Complex, Left Bank, Prime 490... the list goes on. It's artsy and welcoming. Look for b-movie Mondays to appear in a neighboring warehouse - David Lynch meets Robot Monster!
