Olmsted Parks Horse and Carriage Rides

Olmsted Parks Horse and Carriage Rides

At the turn of the century, horse and carriage rides were commonplace along the city's parkways. Today the rides are back thanks to the Olmsted Parks Conservancy, an organization that is dedicated to restoring the park lands and amenities.

Every Sunday from 1pm-5pm the rides will be offered for a $25 fee. The carriages hold up to four people and the ride lasts 15 minutes. When the snow flies, the carriages will travel the parks with sleighs attached (if there is enough snow).

Pick-up & Drop-off at the Lincoln Parkway driveway of the Marcy Casino, 199 Lincoln Parkway, across from the back side of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

Travel routes are along Lincoln Parkway, Soldiers Circle, Gates Circle, and Bidwell Parkway.

Discount for Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy Members.
