Buffalo River Boat Dock @ Michigan
If you're looking for an obscure boat destination on the city's waterfront, you've found it. Pull up you boat and jump off. A dock and a walkway will lead you up to the Swannie House where you will find good food and beers a plenty.
Take a walk over to see the country's oldest operational fire boat, The Cotter. Or bring your bike and hit the trail which leads to the Inner Harbor and the Erie Basin Marina. This 'floating' dock is open to the public. You can call it a public service.
Take time to explore this historic part of the city. There are operational and defunct grain mills and elevators just waiting to be explored. The dock is located next to the Michigan Bridge.
