Urban Roots Mural
As the popular Urban Roots Garden Cooperative was just getting under way, it was a nearby mural that first broadcast the business. I remember the first day that I saw the mural - nothing was going on in this neighborhood worth mentioning and here were these artists painting a vibrant piece!
Not long afterward the neighborhood began to stir with news of a garden cooperative and a gelato joint. Click on the Navigetter pins nearby to witness the rebirth of this five corner district.
