DL&W Bike Connection
Though this public transportation building might look formidable, along the water is a bike trail. The trail connects the land between the home of the Cotter Fire Boat and the Commercial Slip. Not many people know that the trail runs along the river, and that's unfortunate because it's a real time saver and great fun to ride.
There is also a series of steps that were added years back that act as nice little rest stops. If you get caught in the rain, just look for the public shelter on the south end of the building. Make sure that your ride pit stops at The Cotter - it's the world's oldest fire boat still in operation.
