The Birge Mansion
Located on Symphony Circle, The Birge Mansion is an example of what can be done to preserve the city's architecture if we really want to. The mansion came close to being demolished in the '70's, an act that would have forever altered the landscape of this historic district.
Today the Birge Mansion has undergone a massive restoration and sits as a beacon, now occupied by a law firm. The structure overlooks Kleinhans Music Hall, and does occasionally open its doors for events such as Secrets of Allentown.
