Buffalo Triathlon Club
These training sessions are geared towards acclimating yourself to the open water and the things that are in it. There will be a 300 meter course laid out, to familiarize yourself with swimming continuously without a wall every 25 yards.
In previous years some members would do a warm-up by running along the waterfront, before the swim. Other members would go for a run along the path after the swim. Most of the prior construction work has been completed however final touches are not expected to be completed until latter this Summer. There may be still be some work to be completed on pathways.
These swim workouts are hosted by Tim Dieffenbach, happen most Wednesdays and start around 5pm. They take place near 325 Furhmann Blvd, Buffalo NY 14203, formerly the home of the "Festival Grounds at The Pier" (but that building has since been taken down).
