Biking the Peace Bridge
At this point, this is no easy task... but it is completely worth the hassle thanks to the Rails 2 Trails found on the other side. If you are bringing your bike to the bridge via car, you can park at Front Park.
When biking over the bridge, it starts with getting to the point (on the USA side) where Busti Ave meets Niagara Street. You will see signage directing you alongside Sheridan Terrace - it's basically a parking lot for bridge employees. Look for the revolving gate and go through it. There is NO need to present ID at this point.
Cross the bridge and towards the end you will find a bike and pedestrian exit that will loop you underneath the bridge via a tunnel. From there bike up to the first customs agent (with proper ID) - the same place where the cars go. When you are released they SHOULD allow you to go through a gate that will take you to Queen Street and then to Niagara Boulevard.
Take a right and head to the Rails to Trails. Or take a left and head along the Niagara River. Both are EXCELLENT rides.
Coming back to The States, you want to hop onto Mather Circle near where the QEW traffic filters into the bridge. Head back over the bridge and buzz in at the end - you will find a small glass door and buzzer. The customs agent will buzz you into the room for identification and questioning. Then the officer will buzz open a gate. which brings you right back to the parking lot where you started.
