A Great Saturday Breakfast Spot
Nick's is the coolest little place to get eggs and hashbrowns on a Saturday (or any day!) Open til 3pm. A big stomping ground for Buffalo State College students while still catering to the historic neighborhood.
In recent years Amherst Street has been slowly re-energizing. There are new galleries and art studios popping up in the midst of the reliable standbys like Nick's.
Not long ago Nick's closed when a fire ravaged the building. The neighborhood came to the rescue (see photo) and literally helped to put back the pieces, making the business even stronger than it was before.
