Sinatra's
Arguably one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Known for having a sensational lasagna as well as a mouthwatering caponatina (like an Italian salsa served with fresh bread)... truly like no other. Get dressed up and get ready to be pampered with delicious Italian cuisine.
From Sinatra's:
In April of 1981, proprietor John Sinatra opened 938 Kenmore Avenue on Buffalo's north side, transforming an old hot dog stand into Sinatra's Trilogy Restaurant and Lounge. Deemed the Trilogy to celebrate John's three sons, Sinatra's originally catered to a lounge crowd, featuring Southern Italian and Sicilian specialties such as pork braciole and pasta puttanesca using recipes from Vallelunga, Sicily that were handed down through the Sinatra family. But as the demand for these Southern Italian favorites grew, so did Sinatra's emphasis on being a fine dining restaurant. John Sinatra and his three sons focused on catering to greater Buffalos insatiable appetite for fine Italian and Sicilian food through the 1980s and 1990s, expanding and remodeling the restaurant in 2000.
Today, John's middle son, Michael, owns and operates what City and Regional Magazine Association calls one of the "10 Best Restaurants in North America." Sinatra's old style Southern Italian dishes have been enjoyed by former residents of the White House, the current U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Congress, Governors, Mayors, leaders of business and the arts and, most importantly, by Western New York families for almost 30 years. Known for serving the finest meats, the freshest seafood, and the most authentic pasta dishes in all of Western New York, Sinatra's has become another one of Buffalo's fine culinary traditions.
