Betty's Restaurant
This is one of the most popular lunch/breakfast places in the city. It's become so busy that the management built out a stellar addition. The food is top notch - the freshest ingredients and thoughtful combination of flavors. And it's located in an incredibly cozy neighborhood just one block from Elmwood Avenue.
Eat indoors and enjoy the tastefully done interior, or if the weather cooperates sit outside on the peninsula patio or sit at the romantic two-tops along the side. Love the coffee and the service. Many of the servers are musicians at night, as was one of the owners during the punk era. Betty's is bike friendly and constantly alive with interesting people. The new bar has a great beer and wine list and has become a favorite place to hang for residents in the Allentown district.
