Inner Harbor
Hopefully Google will update the maps some day in order to show how this waterfront parcel has changed in recent years. In the lead photo I've provided, you can see the boardwalk ramp where kayakers access the water. These days there are plenty of warm weather activities planned, including Rock the Harbor concerts, kayaking, yoga classes, and historic hikes.
It just goes to show you how many people are willing to participate in waterfront activities when there are places for them to get to the water. Power boats, canoes and sailboats can all interact nicely. Look for the dragon boats, the historic Maritime Center reconditioned motor and sailboats, along with the Spirit of Buffalo schooner. Ice cream and hotdog and hamburger carts are available.
