Richard Gubernick Sculpture

Located at the Lasalle Metro Rail Station, this wall sculpture by Richard Gubernick was part of an art installation coinciding with the opening of the Metro Rail in 1985. The entire effort cost $1.15 million - a staggering amount of money for the time.

The sculpture might look to be complicated to design and construct, but it still looks like some sort of child's erector set. Either that, or it looks as if five racers collided on the video game Tron.
