Latin Gallery
Located at the Allen Street/Medical Campus Metro Rail Station, this work of artistic poetry on tile was part of an art installation coinciding with the opening of the Metro Rail in 1985. The entire effort cost $1.15 million - a staggering amount of money for the time.
This particular work of art is outside in the covered corridor with industrial skylights overhead. Artists are Alberto Cappas, Juan Gonzalez and Oiga Mendell along with William Jobling and Donna Loviero.
