Point in a Set #25
Artist Claire Falkenstein (1970) creation that is a twisted, gnarled composition of incredible depth and beauty. At the same time there is a sense of peace as the interconnected components come together to for what looks to be an anchored ode to the tumbleweed.
In order to achieve the true sense of this work of art, the viewer must really stand over and around it to absorb the different perspectives. Depending on the viewpoint, the sculpture can look dense and cumbersome, or light and porous.
