Dog Friendly Kayak Launch
There is an effort to turn this abandoned seaplane launch into a dog-friendly kayak and canoe launch. Dennis Beecher is currently leading the charge to get this done. It's the perfect location for a small craft launch.
With an application of cement, some railings, signage and a blessing from The City, local residents could soon have another waterfront destination to go to. From this launch, boaters can easily travel around the Erie Basin Marina and land at Emerald Beach (search Navigetter for Emerald Beach).
