The Hatch Ice Cream Shack
The Hatch Restaurant is a great casual eating destination at the Erie Basin Marina. The place frequently gets busy both inside and outside on the patio. That's why we're big fans of the ice cream shack located right next door.
The ice cream shack is pretty much a six sided hut that serves food and treats out of sliding glass windows. In the back (water side) you can purchase raw, steamed, or casino and then take your meal over to one of the many lawns, or out to the patio.
Same goes for the ice cream or custard desserts (served on the front side). There are even chocolate covered bananas. Beer and wine is also available... though I'd probably stick to the beer and bring your own wine! Beer, wine, clams, etc, are served later in the afternoon and into the evening.
