Niagara River Water Turbines
Concept:
In recent years there has been a big push to capture both wind and water power in Buffalo. Of course the city is now home to a string of windmills that dot our waterfront, though the fast flowing waters of Niagara River remain an untapped source of power.
Successful testings of water turbines in the East River of NY prove that the technology is effective. Apparently their are two companies now looking at the Niagara River that are considering proposals to construct a series of hydro turbines.
