Disc Golf Course
Concept:
What if there was an 18-hole urban disc (Frisbee) golf course designed on a former golf driving range? It's an idea that is being tossed around by people who are determined to see such an amenity in Buffalo.
The plot of land is big enough, and with the addition of concrete driving tee platforms and professional baskets, this could be a low cost - high impact project. At this point, the owner of the property has been contacted regarding a long-term lease for the land.
Possible sculpture park and bird sanctuary as components.
