Michigan Northampton Rain Garden
This is an impressive rain garden that has recently sprung up on the city's East Side. It's a peaceful setting, complete with a large pergola gracing the center of the gravel path.
The planters that line the sidewalk are made from reclaimed wood timbers, and are designed in an unusual way - solid yet graceful with an Asian appearance. The rain garden is bounded by a wooden fence to the west and a low rock ledge to the east.
