Horsefeathers
For most of my life I have relied on Horsefeathers antiques and architectural as a source of inspiration for many of my projects. Formerly located on Connecticut Street, the showroom warehouse is now located just off Amherst Street.
Two floors filled to the brim with some of the coolest stuff you will ever come across. With the move came organization too. Both floors are broken up into vintage, cabin, carnival, commercial, architectural, etc. Wonderful prints, fixtures, doors, hardware, religious works, oddities... very unusual finds that you will not see elsewhere. Not cheap either - in this case you get what you pay for. Even when I don't find something to purchase (which is often), I am still happy to have seen all of the delights.
Located in a beautiful old industrial building, situated in an remarkable undiscovered neighborhood... though not for long.
Open to the public with regular hours on Thurs, Fri, and Sat from 10am-5pm.
