Albright-Knox @ DL&W Terminal
Concept:
I was so excited when I first discovered this concept. It was conducted by Gluckman Mayner Architects in order to show how the seconds floor of the DL&W Terminal would look if it were occupied by an expansion of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
The gallery is looking to expand in coming years, but that expansion will most likely take place on the existing campus. Regardless, these renderings do show the incredible opportunity that is untapped at this terminal building.
Think of it... bike, Metro Rail, boat, car and pedestrian access. Hopefully the space will one day be used in a similar manner.
