BSRA Rowing Boathouse
Now Open:
There is a new rowing boathouse coming to the Buffalo River. The effort is a joint one being headed up by the Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association. The site is located directly next to Dead Man's Creek, which was at one point an inlet to a ship canal that led to the Ohio Basin (since filled and and now Father Conway Park).
At this point there is a temporary Quonset hut constructed on the property in order to have a home base available while plans for the permanent structure move forward. This parcel of land is also located right next to the Ohio Street small craft canoe and kayak launch.
