The mural has evolved over time. The face on the right began with a "Beethoven" stencil painting by a local artist and musician named Paul Kozlowski. He currently is playing his guitar in northern Africa.

You can see two more complete Beethoven stencil faces as you look down beyond these three figures. The painted figures in the photo represent saints as soldiers and soldiers as saints in their current state. I see some byzantine period inspiration in their changes over time.

Graffiti is below and on top of parts of them and adds nice depth. The wall evolves.
