Life Memorial Park
If you look closely, you will see that the sidewalk in this park is in the shape of a ribbon. The park is dedicated to those who have lost their lives battling AIDS. Corner of Normal and Porter.
Life Memorial Park Foundation ensures that the ribbon sidewalk is painted red, the heart shaped flower garden is taken care of, and the entire park is continually maintained. There is a memorial with the names of people who have lost lives, and future plans include a water fountain.
