Colonial Circle
Colonial Circle is one of the interconnecting Olmsted hubs that loops people around from Bidwell Parkway to Richmond Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. It's a traffic calmer with plenty of green space to sit and relax and today features a statue of General Daniel Davidson Bidwell riding his horse.
As you can see, at one point there were cannons on the circle - features that are long gone. The circle is manicured with the upmost of care, thanks to the various Zone Gardeners at the Olmsted Parks Conservancy.
