The Golden Key Tavern
Sometimes the late night hotspot districts can be too much. Too many people, too much noise, too much hassle. For those people out there who occasionally just want to go sit at a bar, drink a beer and chill, The Golden Key Tavern is for you.
The people who run the place are friendly and welcoming, though the regulars arrive early and go home late. This is Buffalo's version of the original Hogs and Heffers (NYC). There is a pool table and a jukebox to play around with. There's even a cat called Miss Kitty who calls the bar home... it's just a nice laid back atmosphere where you can get cheap beers and call the place your own.
The Golden Key has a back patio with a horseshoe pit, a dartboard and live music on occasion.
