Cook's Bar and Grill
You don't have to be Irish to get in through the front door of Cook's. Nor do you have to live in the old First Ward. But if you want to experience this bar and grill for the first time, you might as well immerse yourself during the weekend of Saint Patrick's Day.
Found a bit off the beaten path, Cook's is a place where regulars are king, but if you're an irregular nobody will care. You can score some pub grub and a couple of beers on the cheap, while reveling in the fact that you've found a place that goes unnoticed by the majority of Buffalo. Jukebox and free shuffleboard game make the place even more enjoyable.
The Genny beer sign in the front window means that they really serve Genny inside... no posers here.
