Red Thread Theatre
A newly formed women's theatre company called Red Thread Theatre, will reside in the New Phoenix Theatre, located on 95 Johnson Parkway, the oldest park in the city of Buffalo.
The Red Thread Theatre company opens with an area premiere of Catherine Hayes' award-winning play SKIRMISHES, February 4-27, 2010.
Written by Catherine Hayes, SKIRMISHES takes place in the bedroom of a house in provincial England, where a senile old woman lies on her deathbed, attended by her two middle-aged daughters. Playing the two daughters will be two of the area's finest actresses, Josephine Hogan and Eileen Dugan. The mother will be played by Kathleen Betsko Yale. SKIRMISHES will be directed by Kelli Bocock-Natale. For tickets, call 716-853-1334.
