Street Synergy Community Garden
Located at the corner of Dartmouth and Bailey is an inspiring community garden dedicated to the perseverance of the neighborhood and the earth. This was the site of a former house fire, as well as a former dumping ground for cars, tires and everything in-between. Now it is home to a colorful series of garden plots and walking paths.
To add interest to this garden is an earthbag archway - using a rammed earth technique that is both practical and environmentally friendly. The project was mad possible thanks to University at Buffalo, AmeriCorps, the City's Livable Community Grant Program and Bailey residents.
