The Rose Garden Early Childhood Center
The Rose Garden Early Childhood Center offers programs that include parent-toddler classes for children as young as 12 months old, half or full-day care for children 18 months to 48 months of age and a half-day nursery program for children who are three to four years old.
Our teachers are specially trained, our materials are natural and sense-nourishing, our curriculum is geared toward children's development and our playground is designed especially for children to grow comfortable in their bodies and the physical world.
Dandelion Day Care is for toddlers from 18 to 36 months old. Children come for a four hour morning program or a full eight-hour day. They engage in creative play, domestic activities (including bread-baking) and circle games. Puppetry and story-telling are integrated into the day along with plenty of healthy outdoor play. In the afternoon, they have lunch, naptime, story, a snack and more outdoor play in a small group setting.
Sweet Pea Preschool is for three and four-year-olds who also participate in either a morning or full-day program. The children have playtime with open-ended materials that allow them to develop their imaginations. They participate in crafting and practical activities, circle rhymes, songs and developmental movements. They hear a classic story and end their morning with outdoor play in the large enclosed playground. The afternoon consists of lunch, quiet time, a story, snack and outdoor play in a small group.
Aurora Waldorf School: Parent Toddler: Children (ages 1-3) and parents come together in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere to explore the wonders of the first years of life. The morning is filled with meaningful work as wholesome snacks are prepared, and the children enjoy open-ended play, work with natural materials, and join together for puppet shows, songs, rhymes and finger plays.
