Journey's End Refugee Services
Journey's End is a refugee resettlement agency located at the Tri-Main building. The refugees are picked up from the airport, then found everything they need to settle into the their neighborhood.
There are interpreting services for 50 approximately 50 languages the organization is always looking for volunteers to help the refugees to become self-sufficient. The goal is to have them become active members of the community. Journey's End is always looking for donations of blankets, alarm clocks, lamps, etc. Even if it is offering refugees help to get around the city, volunteering is a great way to help these families adjust to their new environs.
Academic coaches help facilitate communication with schools and teachers. There is also an employment department that helps adults seek jobs. Refugees being served at this time:
