Risa's Restaurant
There's a new restaurant in town. Actually, Risa's Deli and Catering has been around for a long time - it was a Hertel institution for years. Now it's going to become a downtown institution as it opens in one of the city's newest buildings on Delaware Avenue.
This is going to be exciting for Buffalonians because not many of them have had the chance to step inside this modern addition to Delaware Avenue's streetscape. Opening February 1st, Risa's will continue on with the traditional deli items with wacky names like "Burnadebt" Peters, Al "Pachino" and Liz "Tailor".
The menu offers wraps, sandwiches (including PB&J, chopped liver, whitefish salad, brisket, shrimp salad, Reuben, Kosher meats), wraps, desserts...
From Risa's:
We offer quick breakfast items including muffins and bagels as well as eggs, omelets and french toast which go great with our freshly brewed coffee. In addition to our mouth-watering lunch menu, we can provide delivery service to offices for meetings, luncheons, or conferences.
Hot Breakfast foods are also available, including Challah French Toast, Lox, Eggs and Onions, Corned Beef and Eggs, Salami and Eggs, Onions and Eggs, Peppers and Eggs, Cheese Omlets, Oatmeal, and Cream of Wheat.
All sorts of sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts... "all the same great food that you have known and loved!"
