Peace Bridge
Concept:
Here's a rendering of what the future of the Peace Bridge might look like if the issue of Shared Border Management (SBM) was on the table. Unfortunately, SBM has been tabled, so this concept has been shelved. It's too bad, because as you can see, the controversial plaza on the American side does not even enter into the picture.
Then again, Peace Bridge activists will notice that both spans are new and therefore the original bridge was not taken into account.
The second image in this series depicts one of the most current proposals for the bridge that would see a second bridge span built next to the original.
There are additional renderings - the last image is Christian Menns design that was originally proposed, though due to environmental reasons it was tabled.
