Frank Lloyd Wright's The Davidson House
The Davidson is privately owned, but the owner has been fighting to turn the architectural masterpiece into a B&B.
Built in 1908, the 4600 sq.' prairie structure was commissioned by Walter Davidson, a Larkin Company Executive, and boasts stunning operable bay windows, a vast sun room, backyard and gardens, three bedroom (each one more remarkable than the last), two full baths, kitchen, maid's quarters, pantry, built in cabinetry throughout, a rooftop study, fireplace, with nooks and crannies galore. It is truly breathtaking to stand in this house of windows.
