Maritime Center Boats
On any given summer's day, you might be lucky enough to find that the Commercial Slip is populated with all sorts of historic watercrafts. These are the boats that are being lovingly built by the Maritime Center. Each boat resembles an actual vessel that would have been found on the city's waterways when Buffalo's waterfront was teaming with activity.
This aquatic comeback is a good sign for supporters of the city's recent investment in the nearby infrastructure, including wharfs and a museum. Boats range from ferries to six-hour canoes to rebuilt Chris Crafts.
