The Wishing Tree
I've never seen a tree like it - right out of a children's fairytale book. The trunk of this great tree is covered (as high as kids can reach) with carved letters and names. Some of the etchings look as if they have been there forever while other look much fresher. All of them appear to be carved as romantic gestures to a loved one or a keen interest.
The tree stands beside a tranquil little pond - the same pond that has recently been made famous thanks to being at the foot of the Frank Lloyd Wright Blue Sky Mausoleum.
