North Restaurant and Bar
This is a good bar to go to if you want to escape the hi-profile Elmwood, Hertel and Allentown go-tos. Very comfortable pub-style setting with intimate tables in front and old world-meets-retro dining set-up in back.
Great place to catch a Sabres game, settle in with a beer, listen to the occasional piano player, and grab a decent meal at the bar or anywhere you want. The food is really quite good - you can get steaks, seafood, pasta, soups, salads and whatever else the chef is preparing. Parking to the side of the Lenox Hotel... it's a walk-down with a ton of character and appeal.
