When it comes to longevity, Billy O's Golden Swan Tavern can't be beat. The tavern has been around the block and so have many of the regulars who frequent the joint.
This is the type of place that you can walk in and grab a beer, then drift down to the end of the bar with no fanfare what so ever. Empty your bottle and the server will find you - other than that, this place is completely laid back. It's like time forgot about Eddie Brady's and when you're at the bar it's easy to forget the time!
The last few years have been exceptionally nice to Ellicott Street. These days you can find everything from sushi to a day spa. There's even a doggy daycare, florist and an upscale food market and cafe. And there's more to come.
