Taste of Thai
This is my favorite place to eat on Hertel. The atmosphere is ok, but it is the food that I come for. Some of my favorites are:
Sesame chicken sauteed with sesame Thai sauce.
Rice paper rolls - wrap with lettuce, mint, bean sprouts, carrots, cilantro & choice of shrimp or vegetables.
Poh Tak - spicy seafood soup with lemon grass, lime leaves, mushrooms, tomatoes & ginger.
Pud Thai flat thin noodles sauteed with eggs bean sprouts, and scallions with peanut sauce.
Sweet & Sour Prew Wan with choice of meat stir fried with onions, cucumbers, bell peppers, pineapple and tomatoes in sweet and sour sauce.
To top it off, this place has the best Thai iced tea anywhere - if you are a fan of maple sugar candy then you'll love this drink.
Navigetter Tip: They have no beer or wine license, but they do allow you to bring your own.
