Chef's Restaurant

Chef's Restaurant

Update: At this time there is another major expansion taking place at Chef's as you can see in the second photo.

Since 1923 Chef's has been serving up traditional Italian food. If there was an Italian cult restaurant in Buffalo, it would have to be Chef's. It must be something that they put in the sauce - the eatery is packed with lunchtime customers almost every day of the week.

Chef's even bottles a lot of its recipes. And they have an annoying jingle (that I'm listening to right now) on their website. This is where the local celebs and personalities eat... even though there is really no pretension to be seen. They even manage to attract all of the national celebs when they are visiting.

Chef's seats 325 people at a time... the place is huge. There are also a couple of banquet rooms. The catering squad has a car that looks like a jar of spaghetti believe it or not. The extensive menu is everything that you ever hoped for at an Italian restaurant, plus there's a kid menu. Very family-friendly place. Soups, salads, Italian sandwiches, chicken dishes, desserts. Bar is stocked, and the tables are set with red checked paper table cloths - very casual needless to say.
