Third Room
As far as Chippewa goes, Third Room is one of the bars that blazed the trail for the district's renaissance. For that reason alone it's a good bar. Plus, it's not as club-ish as the rest of the venues. It's actually a bar where you can sit on a stool and listen to some good music.
There is a gigantic heated back patio and a hallway that leads to The Calumet and La Luna - so there are multiple places to go without having to trek around the street. The age group at Third Room tends to be a bit older that some of the teenybopper clubs nearby, and the music can range, depending on the night, from funk to house, etc.
