The Sportmen's Tavern
Navigetter News: Sportsmen's Tavern is undergoing an incredible transformation in months to come. The small music venue will become a 350 seat music hall by adjoining two buildings. Complete with mezzanine, patio overhanging the street with bump-out, garage doors that open so fans can look down over the musicians, two bars and intimate load seating.
The Sportmen's Tavern is home to local and national alt-country, blues, and rock musicians. If you're into any one of those music genres, this is the place that will make you very, very happy.
Rarely a night goes by when an impressive live act has not set up shop at this tavern. There are even bands that play during the day depending on the time of year. Needless to say, the weekends are special and that's when you might catch a national act. There are open mic nights and guitar clinics too.
Soups, salads, sandwiches and fried options are served. Clubs, wraps, melts, burgers... wings and Friday fish fries.
