Thirsty Buffalo promotes itself pretty heavily as a sports bar. They've also been bringing in wider assortments of beer, partially to attract business from the customers who support Village Beer Merchant... a wise move.
Thursdays is Team Trivia night, and now there's karaoke afterwords to keep the momentum going. NFL Sunday specials include deals on pitchers and chicken wings - one of the only places around that serves pitchers of beer! They have a beer club and a beer of the month selection.

Thirsty Buffalo located at 555 Elmwood Ave., the site of the former Jimmy Mac's. Although the full menu is reminiscent of Jimmy Macs, the interior is completely different. Thirsty Buffalo offers you ten plasma televisions scattered throughout the bar, dining area and newly renovated lounge area for all of your sporting needs.
The lounge area is also available for private parties. Thirsty Buffalo offers a large selection of bottled as well as draft beers, and has one of Buffalo's longest and best happy hours featuring 2-4-1 Blue Light drafts and 2-4-1 well drinks from noon till 7pm Monday through Friday.
