Unless someone told you that this place existed, you might not ever know that it was there. Unless you lived around the corner of course. Some of the simplest homemade lunches to be found anywhere served on red checked tablecloths. Very interesting space with a banquet room in back.
As for the food, you're looking at spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, ravioli... white bread... beer. Cheap enough to not hurt the wallet, served up super quick, in a quaint atmosphere. The place has been around forever because it's simple good food without any hassle.
