Famous Doughnuts
Great fresh doughnuts, the way they were meant to be. Coffee and doughnuts, not much else. They used to be in the Central Park Plaza, walked there as a child and the smell is exactly the same. I am a huge fan of their peanut sticks.

"The shop in question is a walk up, walk in and walk out type of establishment where the goodies are homemade right on site. Doughnuts are $0.70 each, $6.70 a doz with an extra dime for the 13th treat. It offers extremely light, airy, melt-in-your-mouth fare reminiscent of Freddies from yesteryear, or Krispy Kreme kind of way, in a no-frills absolutely sans of overhead atmosphere. One is there to get delicious doughnuts, not sit in some franchise cookie-cutter run-of-the mill business. Hours of operation are crack of dawn 6am until just after dinner desert 6pm. Closed early on the weekends, they are open seven days a week. The glazed are light, good sized and delicious." -J Jopp
